The core program curriculum includes six modulestaught by the world’s foremost authorities on international business and cross-cultural interaction. The modules are as follows:
Module 0 (Orientation) – Build Business Fundamentals
Module 1 – Manage Strategically – Create Opportunity
Module 2 – Lead Change within Context and with Analytics
Module 3 – Deliver Value across Borders
Module 4 – Navigate Complex Initiatives
Module 5 – Innovate for Growth
Module 6 – Create Opportunity – Manage in a Volatile & Uncertain World
One year MBA students also partake in Thunderbird’s global study components. These programs offer students a full immersion in global business with hands-on, study-abroad opportunities around the world. Options include Winterims/Summerims, summer language abroad programs, and exchange programs. Upon graduating from Thunderbird’s MBA program, most students end up working in North America with the majority of those students working in the west and southwest regions of the United States. Employment reports and statistics report that Thunderbird MBAs made an average base salary of $83,034 with an average signing bonus of $11,180. Most graduating students go on to work in marketing and sales or finance and accounting within the technology and consumer products industries.
